Reviewed by Jamie Hailstone Inspired by a CARE conference entitled Searching For Intimacy, this 13-track CD is the spiritual equivalent of a nice cup of hot chocolate, a thick blanket and a roaring fire. It is a chilled-out devotional album, perfect for long drives, cell groups and other times when you need some quiet reflection. The Bible verses include excerpts from Romans, Ephesians, Philippians and, naturally, the Psalms. The songs themselves are, as you would expect from someone like Graham Kendrick, built on the solid rock of Scripture. But this CD is not so much a "proper Graham Kendrick album". It is more like a well constructed church service, designed to take the listener on a spiritual journey, bringing them closer to God with every passing step. Take an hour out of your life, sit down, turn the phone off and put this CD on. Then afterwards make yourself that hot chocolate, put the phone back on and get ready to take on the world, feeling completely refreshed.
