This song, the second single release from Truce so far, is taken from their recently released debut album 'Nothin' But The Truce' and is a competent enough attempt to get Truce some airplay. However, unlike their first single "Treat U Right", "The Finest" is a straight love song, but leaving that to one side it is well produced and could sell a fair amount of copies. Three mixes are available on the CD (Radio Mix, R&B Mix, 70's Retro Club Mix), all of which are really rather good in their own way. These are followed by a mid-tempo gospel acapella song, "The Rhythm", which shows off the girls' vocal talents quite well. The lack of gospel lyrics on this single might put some off, but if that doesn't worry you you're probably going to enjoy it.
