A 45% increase in the disease was found among women who had been taking the second-generation Pill for three years or more. The findings follow a study of 95,000 women aged 30-70 by researchers at Tromso University in Norway. An estimated 3.25 million of the 3.74 million British women on the Pill now take a second-generation version.
