The annual charity appeal Operation Christmas Child has received a boost as Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United, is to back its 2003 campaign. Sir Alex said "I am very pleased to be involved with Operation Christmas Child's 2003 Shoebox Appeal. It is a very practical way of bringing some happiness into the lives of needy children in many countries, particularly in the Balkans an Eastern Europe." |
