Steve has been toiling away at his own Hart Music studios in Newhaven for quite a while now and this set (of which you heard a track on last issue’s Cross Rhythms sampler) is his contribution to the modern worship field. What is hugely impressive is that not only did Steve compose, sing, engineer and produce the 11 songs here he also played guitars, bass, drums and keyboards! For my money this is Steve’s strongest ever project with “Your Love Surrounds Me”, having a memorable riff and a wistful vocal, and “Thank You”, a slow and tender song of adoration, both as good as most things you’ll hear at Soul Survivor or wherever. Serious respect to Britain’s finest (and first?) one man worship band.

I borrowed this album from a friend, and i absoloutly loved
it! My favourite being the last track- is Steve Hart going
to bring out anything else in the near future?
