The former drummer and singer with funk outfit Slave was already trying to establish a solo career when he became a Christian in 1984. Bringing his new found faith to the sessions for this album meant that both musically and lyrically, his music got a shot in the arm. The whole album is infused with the kind of passion and enthusiasm for life that often emanates from the newly saved. This is best summed up in the funky title track and the British hit single "Feel So Real" which are both pretty straight forward when it comes to expressing a message. Those two tracks do overshadow the rest of the album but that's not to say that there aren't other songs here worth checking out. "Stand With Me" is solidly funky and again full of message and the closing "Turn Up The Love" brings things to a strong conclusion. This album has been out of print for many a long year but recently has become available again via download. Meanwhile Arrington himself re-emerged last year with the excellent 'Pure Thang' album.
