The last time I popped a CD into my player and was instantly smitten by the sound was when I got hold of a copy of Matt Brouwer's 'Imagerical' release a few years ago. Planetshakers, the group that have grown out of Melbourne's fast growing youth event, have done the same trick on me, and I'm sure will do so for you. The sound is like a mellow, early Sonicflood, rocked worship that's on the right side of accessibility. From the up and at 'em "Running After You" to the heavy "Big" (which would be fantastic in a kids worship set) to the atmospheric title track, this is a solid album that leaves you wanting to see a live set. If I had the time and the money I'd book a ticket to Melbourne today.
