Mike and Kelly both have strong pedigrees in Southern gospel music. However, what is really striking about this album is that they have come up with a whole bunch of modern songs and although the album is being marketed as Southern gospel, the backings comprise some of Nashville's top country musicians including plenty of steel guitar and fiddle giving it a much more country feel that many an album that I have come across that is actually marketed at country! The opening track "'Your Cries Have Awoken The Master"' is one of two great tracks written by The Isaacs, the other being "'A Miracle Today"'. There is a nice lively mix all through and I also enjoyed the song written by the Bowlings, "I Have Faith". If Southern gospel with more than a touch of country appeals to you then give this excellent album a try.

Product Description
Husband and wife team Mike & Kelly Bowling join together for their first ever album as a team.

While both have had major success recording separately for years, Mike and Kelly Bowling now appear for the first time as husband and wife on their debut release, Faith To Believe. With a combined 11 GMA Dove awards, 3 Grammy nominations and over 20 #1 songs, this husband and wife team travel the world performing two hundred dates a year. Together with tenor Jeff Snyder, they have created a sound that is as refreshing as the trio sounds of the early 70s.
