Although urban worship sounds are very much part of Fortitude's musical identity, what they have in common with the very best gospel acts of both genres (traditional and contemporary) is some serious talent with their vocal harmonies. If R&B-influenced opener "He's Alright", the funk-driven groove on "Let God Arise", or even the jazz-tinged gospel stylings of "The Question Is" aren't completely to your liking, then I defy anyone not to be impressed by their silky-smooth delivery of "He Will Supply", "In Your Arms" or "Freedom". These guys have class.
