Two CD/DVD retrospectives showcase Atlanta rockers Third Day
ATLANTA rock band Third
Day are the subject of two retrospectives to be released in 2007.
In March 'Chronology Vol 1 (996-200)' will be issued featuring rare,
previously unreleased video and audio. The project will include early
video footage of Mac Powell and Mark Lee performing at their home
church, band commentary on music videos and brand-new recordings of
classic songs "My Hope Is You" and "Thief". In August 'Chronology Vol
2 (2001-2006)' will be released featuring a full 10 year video
documentary on the band. Said the band's Mac Powell, "With the release
of 'Chronology, Volume One' and 'Two', we're looking back and
celebrating those experiences that formed who we are today. The
commentary and bootleg videos are hilarious. I mean, I don't have any
facial hair and my voice is a whole octave higher." Tai Anderson
added, "These projects were a lot of fun to pull together. I'd
forgotten how many different 'looks' we actually went through! What
was really fun though, was rerecording and remixing the songs that our
fans made hits. We'll always be grateful to them for allowing us to do
what we love doing."
