New version of Switchfoot's 'The Beautiful Letdown' released

CALIFORNIAN rock hitmakers Switchfoot have released a 20th Anniversary Edition of their classic 2003 album 'The Beautiful Letdown'. The re-recording is titled 'The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version)'. Read a media statement, "Just before the album was released, Switchfoot was dropped from Columbia Records. It was only after millions of albums had been sold that the label was forced to support the band that had proved them wrong. To celebrate 20 years of the 'The Beautiful Letdown', Switchfoot has released 'their version', a new re-recorded edition of the album, on both CD and LP. The vinyl comes in a deluxe triple gatefold package, including a fold-out poster, available on a variety of vinyl colours."
