This third CD from the Praise Africa series was recorded live at the Rhema Bible Church, Johanesburg, South Africa in 1999. It features a collection of songs from various musical styles, sounding more like a Ron Kenoly set than something specifically "African". The praise is exuberant, the songs a tad predictable, but the sincerity behind it all is more than apparent. There's plenty of brass, a touch of 'Graceland' harmonies, and only a bit of African percussion/drumming in the best track "Strong And Mighty". The CD sleeve photos kind of sum it up with a mix of elephant shots superimposed on multiple views of the grandiose production worship stage I'm afraid the mixture didn't work for me and my djembe!
