I just sang a song at church this morning, by Andrew Culverwell called "He won't let you go". I have previously owned a tape of Andrew's, but given it away to a friend who needed a spirtual lift. I've been looking to replace the tape ever since. I'm so happy to hear from you Annabelle, that your Dad is still active in the Lord's work and using his wonderful gift to bless others. His singing and songs, have been a real inspiration of hope! Please let me know if there's any way of purchasing a CD of his music. Much appreciated, and God bless!

I've been looking for the music to one of Andrew's songs, Born again, there's really been a change in me.

Hi everyone,
I am Andrew's youngest of his 2 daughters. I am so pleased to have finally seen this website and see all of your wonderful comments and questions.
He is still alive and well and still very active in the church and doing God's will. He unfortunatly does not have an email address or website but I am working on getting an email set up so that you can talk to me and I can relay back to him. I will get back in touch when I have one set up.

I'm still hoping, and praying for Andrew to get in touch.I first met Andrew at South Chard. I was a new Christian and taken there by Harry Greenwood. The last time I saw was in Denmark early 80's. I must have met you Annabelle in your home in Atlanta where your father invited me once when I was on a missionary trip. Andrew I too have experienced a broken marraige and worse... but GOD IS FAITHFUL and HIS GRACE is AMAZING. Please send my greetings to your father.

Hi
I was neat to see so many replies about your father. He and your mother visited our church back in the early 80's--The Workshop in Wooster, Ohio. Your grandfather, Don Morris, spoke that evening. I thought he was a great speaker and so in touch with the Holy Spirit. I teach at an Amish school and we are going caroling this Thurs. We will sing Come on Ring Those Bells. I think it is the children's favorite Christmas carol. Thanks! Beth

Hi Annabelle, your dad lead us in worship at Forest Home many years ago and we still have a tape that is all but worn out. But one song still rings in my heart and that is May this be the Place.

Can you point me in a direction for the words and sheet music? I would love to teach this song to our congregation.
Thank you
Bruce

Annabelle,
I'm not sure if your remember me. I'm almost positive Andrew will. Can you please pass on the word that I was curious how he is doing. My Name is Jillian Elise and my mother has no idea that i am trying this. and if it's possible i'd like to keep it that way for now. Tell him I still remember him and have been thinking of him recently. And of course hope all is well with him and the family.

Hi Annabelle

I have a picture of you at your Aunt Sally's wedding at the Lockleaze Fellowship in Bristol !! I made the bridesmaid dresses - your mum sent me the measurements from the States. I'm delighted to read that Andrew is still ministering in song - we loved it when he came to us.

Please give him a big hug from all of us in Devon.

Very excited to see your father is still ministering in music. He has touched so many lives through song. When a website gets set up, I would love to know how to access it. I search every once in a while for his music and/or music resources - just in case they get put on the internet somewhere. So far, no luck. Will keep watching and hoping. It's time to review some of those God inspired pieces and share them in our local churches. Thank you and God Bless!!!

Annabelle,

Your dad is one awesome man. He helped me get 3 backups he had sung so I could sing them at church and the Living Word Outdoor Drama. I now he got remarried as he called me at my home one day and told me. I bought his new CD at that time and he autographed it for me. I am 46 and I grew up listening to him and have all his old albums. I remember getting invited to his wedding through an e-mail invitation on my e-mail. I was so excited to finally see him face to face but couldn't make the wedding. Your mother and your dad wrote a song together I have wanted to sing at church. He told me he had his songs stolen one time and he couldn't find it. I've been trying to call him after his marriage and his e-mail shut down, my letters get returned, and his phone number that I had was shut off. Please let him know he is loved. There are Christian Friends who love him. I know he has gone on with his life, but it is hard to understand why is out of the spotlight in my life. I am sure his second wife wonderful and I am sure he wants to get on with his life from California to Florida. Let him know Dale in Ohio misses our talks. Hoping to sing more of his songs at church. He really needs to publish his songs again. His love of Christ in his songs never get old. Even though your dad and I seem to get older. Life is short. Tell him to call me or e-mail me if he wants to stay unlisted.

In Christ,

Dale Rogers

Annabelle!

This is Clayton your old friend from Silver Hill. I hope you are doing well. Just for the fun of it, I googled you Dad's name and found this site. Are you still living in the Nashville area? We are still in Stone Mountain. Your dad used to call when he passes through, but we are usually in Michigan during the 4th, and in Alabama during Christmas, so we have not seen him for a while. I should get his phone number, as I occassionally get down to Florida for business and would like to look him up when I am there.

I have not been in Nashville for several years, but it would be fun to see you some time. I think your dad said you had a child, but I have not spoken with him since we saw him around Christmas 4 or 5 years ago.

Blessings to you and yours,

Clayton Adams

I am so thrilled to see that Andrew is still performing. As a young adult, his music was (Let this be the place) was both inspirational and contemplative. I am anxiously awaiting a website and perhaps opportunity to purchase those old favorites on CD!

Andy (Andrew) lives in Pompano Beach, FL and still performs at local churches. He is my neighbor and I actually just found out all this information about him, I knew he used to perform but did not know this info. I will have to speak with him about helping him with a website. To think that he performs at all my parties and wedding and no one knew who he was. We love him and his wife, they are my favorite neighbors and we would do anything for them. Hope this helps.

Glad to see some current discussion about Andrew Culverwell.
I have been looking for some of his music--or at least the words--off and on for a number of years now.
If anybody here could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Most recently I've been looking for the words to: Jesus Come And Shine Your Light on Me, but would also be interested in several others that he has written.

Thanks.
Clayton

I just received a cd of Andrew's called "He Will Be There" that was produced in 1991 or 1992 I believe. I'm listening to it at the moment. It's new songs, but the Andrew sound is still there.

On the subject of South Chard. I am trying to locate tape recordings of the SC meeting during the 1960s and 1970s.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hi Brad and Glad,

My connection with Andrew: I don't recall speaking to him in person. I was baptized at South Chard in the spring of 1970 then visited S. Chard several times over the following years. Also, I attended a Harry Greenwood conference near Ipswich where Andrew shared in Music.

Please e-mail me adrian_auerhudson@yahoo.com You will hear back from me at my private e-mail address. I would love to discuss your S Chard recordings with you.

In Messiah

Hi Adrian
We were at South Chard from 1968 - 1973 and have a tape recording of a meeting there. It is on a reel to reel tape. Anyway what is your connection with Andrew?

Hi Ruth,

It is such a pity that you no longer have the vinyl record albulms. I have the equipment that can copy analogue material to CD.

Time permitting I will see what I can locate that is available on CD.

A few years back, I read somewhere on the Internet that he was playing at a coffee house in California, or some place of that sort. I believe I saw somewhere that he moved from Atlanta to California. I keep looking on the Internet. Would like to get in touch with him. I had corresponded with him at one time, and with his mother also. I have had all of his records with the exception of maybe his early ones made in England. I'm now 89 years old and my hearing is not good. I've given away all his music that I had, when my record player broke. I'm looking for any of his music on CD's. I'd love to hear a few of my favorites again.

Linda, I don't have an answer to your question. But, I also would like to know where Andrew is and what he is doing? I would also like to know if and where his material is available?

Andrew first became known to me at a Harry Greenwood conference near Ipswich in England. I was very familier with his home Church in South Chard.

Last I heard Andrew had moved to Atlanta, Georgia.

Someone must know more. :-)

Hi
We are so pleased to hear other people want to get in touch with Andrew. we were at South Chard fellowship in the late 60's and early 70's, and Andrew dedicated one of our children. We loved his singing and have seen him at times on the Gaither dvd's. His talent was and i'm sure still is a precious gift from the Lord, and needs to continue to be heard.
