Have just been listening to a tape I have of Andrew's songs. It is like listening to an old friend. He used to come to the church I attended in Yeovil, Somerset UK. I knew him and the other Kingsmen and they often sang in the Elim church in Southville Yeovil. I was married to the Pastor of the church and have often wondered what happened to Andrew. My prayer is that God will mightily use him for the extension of His kingdom on earth.

Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus: Annabelle, thank you, thank you, thank you. It is so-o-o-o-o good to hear that your father is still singing and ministering in the Lord. Your father came to our church in the 80's, First Assembly of God in Concord, NC USA. I have had him on my mind for such a long time. I wasn't aware that he had re-married. Life does take a toil on us from time to time. Please, please encourage your father to produce more of his older songs and music for the brothers and sisters all over the world that know of his love for Christ and his gift of singing. He has touched literally thousands of lives and we hold a special place in our hearts for him and his family. There is great messages in his music and peace and a hope to bring us closer to our God. Thank you for viewing our comments and please pray that the Lord Jesus will strike a new chord of music in our sweet brother to use his gift to bring about inspiration to other saints in the Lord. We love him and pray that Christ will give your father a new insight into his destiny. In Christ Jesus Mrs. Judy Mullis

Annabelle
We are so pleased to have just seen your note on the Cross rythms web site.

We had frequent fellowship with Andrew when we and He lived at South Chard.

We lost contact some 20-25 years ago and would love to make contact again. We are hoping to visit the US later this year, maybe we could meet again then.

Hi
Lovely to know that other people are interested in Andrew's whereabouts. Time passes and contacts can so easily be lost, and it good to know how people are now.
Thanks for writing in and hopefully renewed contact.

I too first heard Andrew sing at an Acteens convention when I was a young teen in the mid 70's. All the girls were crazy for him and his music!! I haven't seen my 8-track in a couple of decades but I still find myself singing a few lines of a song or two! I search for his music on e-bay every few months hoping to find a familiar title. I hope he will one day put some songs on I-tunes so I can share them with my daughter.

I was at the Acteens convention in Memphis too and Loved Andrew. His "Who Do You Say That I Am?" has been with me ever since:).

Was Marge Caldwell there also? I just learned of her passing (in 2006) today and was doing some searching and ended up here!

Tell Andrew all us crazy Acteens still love his music!! I have one of his piano music books...need to pull it out!

I also have been blessed with the music from Andrew. My records have seen better days, and would like to know about any CD's that are available.

God Bless

Dear Annabelle,
I had the privalege of hearing Andrew and meeting him at a church I attended where a great friend of his was our Associate Pastor. That person is now the Pastor of the small church I attend and has told me he as lost contact with Andrew and how much it would mean to him to find him. I have been searching for him as a surprise for my pastor friend. His name is Nick Holman. Would you please pass that on to your father and ask him to correspond with me if he is interested in reuniting with the Holmans. I would feel honored to be a part of making this happen! I have the cd I got at the concert Andrew did for us and have practically worn it out. As a matter of fact, I have been looking for the music to those songs in print but been unable to find them. It is the "He Will Be There" CD.
I am so excited to have possibly found a link to reach Andrew to put him in touch with the Holman's.
I look forward to hearing from you. Blessing to each of your family and to your father.

Awesome!! Finally some information on what happened to this gifted man. My parents, brothers, and I used to listen to his music all the time (8-tracks and vinyls) and God used it to strengthen our hearts in Him. I have looked for the past few years to see if I could get some cds, and lately have looked on iTunes for his music. No luck. Please, Annabelle, tell your father that many people are interested in having his music, and we miss him. My family still sings lines from some of his songs! I cannot read about Thomas in the Bible without singing a few lines. :) Blessings to you and your family.

Dear Annabelle,

This Sunday AM I am thinking back almost 40 years to an state Georgia Baptist Convention Acteen meeting at the Rock Eagle 4-H Conference Center in Eatonton, Ga. where your dad was the featured worship person. I fell in love with his music and bought the "8-tracks" that day. I loaned them to my music minister in Marietta to see if he would agree that we should have your dad in our church. I never got them back.

This morning I googled his name and found this website. I am happy to hear that he is still working for the Lord.

Please give some other information and perhaps
how I might be able to replace my copies of his work.

Diana Brown, Jasper, Ga.

I met Andrew as a young teen at a youth conference in Memphis Tennesee many many years ago. I had his Wedding song sang at my wedding. I am glad to hear he is doing well.

Susan,

I was in a conference also, I believe in the early 70's and was blessed to hear Andrew Culverwell sing. I had never been in such a large city. At the time I was from NE MO. I wonder if it was the same conference, for Acteens. Would love to hear if it was the same.
