All you player haters take note - Luke is annointed and that's it. God has given him a gift and he's using it. Production etc don't matter - it's how it hits your heart if you allow it. I did and there are tracks on that CD that have affected my life - innit. Also, let's have some unity in the north east coz there's only one God and we need to remember that! No need to dis him coz he's from another church.

I went to a mens weekend up in Glasgow last June and Luke was up there leading worship. I found a couple of the songs brought real healing to my life. Luke told me that they were planning to re-record the cd because they weren't happy with the quality. I disagree with any people who say it's rubbish. It's obvious that the quality isn't great but that doesn't make it rubbish and Luke seemed genuinely disappointed by it, which surprised me. There are a couple of naff tracks on the album but there are also naff tracks on some of the Hillsong United albums. Luke has a different style to Hillsong, they're both totally different, I can't believe some of you are comparing the two. there is no doubt in my mind that Luke Finch is anointed. Luke Keep going dude, I think you're a real blessing!!

We're all called to be worshippers of God first and foremost, in spirit and truth, touching God's Presence in awe, celebrating Him. If anyone hasn't heard Luke Finch worship then I'd encourage you to get his album. His music's a call to seek God's face and walk with the only One who matters and cos the Holy Spirit comes when I play it... everything else is peripheral. The things mentioned earlier do matter, but they don't matter nearly as much as whether God's on it and He is. Music reviews can become secular, but we need a holy agenda to ROCK an unholy world. =]

First of all, I would like to say that Luke Finch is a LEDGE! He aint just a guy who sings worship.. he lives it and is a great inspiration!

The amazing news is that Luke is now signed! YES.. it is by the dude who started the furious label off and does Matt Redman too.. so expect AMAZING THINGS! The amazing new talent of Luke Finch and the ageless quality of mint quality! =]

I've heard that Luke is writting a new album as we speak, I also found out from a good source in Newcastle (Hillsong) that he's using one of the main Hillsong muso's Christian Elliott. I heard him many times now on the Christian and Secular scence an amazing drummer to watch. I'm anticipating that this album will be somthing more musically tasteful lets say.

THE ALBUMN IS CALLED 'GLORY REVOLUTION' AND BY WHAT I HEAR FROM FRIENDS, IT IS EXPECTED TO SUPERCEDE HIS DEBUT ALBUM MASSIVELY... FROM WHAT FOLK TELL ME, HE IS AN IMPRESSIVE MUSICIAN AND SINGER, AND REALLY JUST SUFFERED FROM THE POOR PRODUCTION ON HIS FIRST ALBUM...

GUESS WE'LL SEE!

It's not being sold anymore. He's been scouted and signed by a christian record label and had to withdraw 'RUN' as part of the contract. New album out in Feb....!!

I found that if you play track 6 backwards and speed it up slightly, you can hear the words "sage and onion stuffing" very faintly in the background. That feature I was rather fond of, otherwise I'm not that keen on it!

I found the same as you noah, In song 6 you can hear the words "sage and onion stuffing" although at first i thought it said "Sage and cheesecake pie"

The Album is well writen but the music is poorley recorded, the 1st, 7th and 10th songs especialy are in need of a decent PA set, but there are some good moments in some of the tracks, Some credit is deserved for it, but it needs major improvement.

If John Finlayson likes it then it must be a go! He knows a thing or two about anointing. John, if you come back to this page to re-read your own comment (like I hope you might), please know I am thinking about you. cheers.
