Their card says, "the rhythm and praise band", which is true as far as it goes though the rhythms you get here are firmly rooted in '50s and '60s pop rock and the kind of flacid pedestrian shuffles that passed for rhythms when churches first emerged from death by hymnody to pick up guitars. Then there are the vocalists, lovely and sincere Christians all no doubt, but apparently none with the vocal equipment to step in front of the soloist's mic. There are one or two sparks in the original compositions by Simon Clulow and Bob Edwards, but the plodding performances here would swamp songs of genius.
