The way in which music is being delivered to the public is, of course, changing dramatically as this release demonstrates. The three tracks (confusingly referred to as an "EP" by Vicky's new record company) are, from February, available for download from iTunes and other such sites. So, if you can't wait for Vicky's new album, set for physical and download release in April, this trio of energising modern worship songs this will keep you dancing around your living room. "Salvation Day" is the catchiest of the three, with a ringing guitar riff and an "uh,oh,uh,oh" answering chorus being one of those impossible-to-forget song embellishments that radio programmers love but which constant exposure to could lead to insanity. "Blessing And Honour" is both a quality rock ballad and a powerful vision of Heaven when we will stand "face to face with beauty/eye to eye with love". Finally "Deliverer" reminds us that where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom and healing. Clearly the one time Oxford theology student has lost none of her winning ways in penning and performing memorable worship songs.
