The band formerly known as Dropknee have undergone a line up and name change and released a new EP to launch the band. Always a band with an ear for a memorable melody, a gentle acoustic-driven pop sound and clever lyrics, this three song single is quality! There's the moody "Alarms" and the introspective "Light Years" and the brighter "Spinning Wheels" with its poppier groove. In an age when an artist like badly Drawn Boy can become a major star, there should be room for Vender's catchy acoustic pop to capture the imagination.
