In 2003, The Rock Music from Salt Lake City debuted their first independent release, 'Anything,' under the leadership of Steele Croswhite. Since then, a string of albums has followed in its wake and this spring saw the release of their latest creation. Standing somewhat apart from the worship sound that we have become accustomed Hillsong, Elevation and Bethel Music mould, The Rock Music have developed a sound steeped in intimate lyrics, ethereal synths and ready-to-rock guitars. Several of the songs can also track their origin to well-loved passages in the Bible, as the author has clearly encountered God's voice there. The title track is lyrically a beautifully honest telling of our humanity and God's steadfastness. "Good To Me" and "Here's My Heart" flow seamlessly into each other both in melody and lyrical surrender to our Sovereign King. 'Your Love Remains' is dedicated to the declaration and praise of the goodness of God, which is impossible to ignore as you soak in each track, every cinematic song being filled with a deep desire and adoration for Jesus.
