Reviewed by Andrew Privett I reviewed The Violet Burning’s ‘Demonstrates Plastic And Elastic’ some time ago and absolutely loved it. Well, ‘Fabulous, Like You’ was written and produced by Michael Pritzl (frontman of the former), and I can honestly say that it didn't disappoint. According to Pritzl, the Gravity Show is 40 minutes of hope, sorrow, love and electricity. I'm sure he forgot to mention that it is also enjoyable, well written, well produced and another triumph! Influences like Echo And The Bunnymen, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Cure, Nick Cave and Joy Division certainly show through this album with some superb tracks, like “Rock 'N' Roll Star”, “Dreadful”, “Fabulous, Like You” and many more. In my opinion and many other critics, Michael Pritzl is a very important songwriter in CCM today. Long may he continue!
