In case you don't already know, The Fellow Man is a band from Portugal who have in Bruno Myra a pretty strong singer. This four-song EP comes after a single, EP and album and shows they are skilled practitioners of bluesy pop rock. The opener "Wonderland" is based on a nagging guitar riff and gets better with each play. Then there is the heavy rock styled "Final Call" and, my favourite cut, the Americana-tinged "Drive". The arrangements are good, the BVs in all the right places and the guitar playing every bit as good as you'd expect from someone, like Bruno, who can deliver quality axe work. There probably isn't a track here which radio folk will be immediately adding to their playlists but neither is there anything which will leave you reaching for the eject button. This is good, solid, well executed pop rock from a team clearly comfortable in their own skins.
