When Cross Rhythms interviewed Ted Pearce back in 2000 he was fronting a rock band, Big Methusala, and bemoaning the Nashville CCM industry and their unwillingness to sign acts who weren't handsome or beautiful. Maybe that's changed now with Chris Sligh demonstrating you don't have to have boy band looks to make good music. In the meantime Ted has found an effective new niche for himself in messianic worship music. The American is joined on this set by German worship band Be'er Sheva, from TOS Ministries in Tubingen. 'Hallelu Et Adonai' was originally released in 2005. This updated version includes eight new songs in addition to the 11 that appeared on the original. Four songs, "For Zion's Sake", "Yeshua", "No Weapon" and "Psalm 23", were recorded by Be'er Sheva in Germany and Ted sings lead on "No Weapon", a powerful number based on Isaiah 54 and Psalm 91. Several of the other songs here with strong melodies and biblical lyrics have the potential to be taken up by Messianic congregations and churches for years to come.

Product Description
Hallelu Et Adonai are the Hebrew words for 'Praise the Lord'. International Messianic recording artist Ted Pearce brings the listener back to the ancient Hebrew roots of Praise & Worship, with soothing vocals and raw unplugged acoustics.
Ted Pearce is joined on this CD by German worship band Be’er Sheva, from TOS Ministries in Tübingen.
'The songs of Be’er Sheva reflect their heart for Israel and their love for Adonai. Their international ministry has taken an unparalleled stand against the rising tide of Anti-Semitism in Europe', says Yochanan Ben Yehuda, President, Galilee of the Nations Music.
This International blend of worship music in the Hebrew & English languages will encourage you to pray for Israel while taking you to the feet of Yeshua (Jesus), the Holy One of Israel.

In fact, Ted's roots were in messianic music long before Big
Methuselah and The Nomadic Farmers(which is where I first
heard his particular brand of down-and-dirty swamp-rock).
So in effect, like Odyssey, he's going back to his roots -
I'm told that he and Joel Chernoff have resurrected the
legendary band Lamb - that should be interesting ...
