This 20-song compilation was available free of charge as a download album for a short period of time to celebrate 20 years of music ministry for the Cheshire-based singer/songwrtier. In 1993 Steve left his job and released his debut album and began a journey which eight albums later has seen a variety of songs and two decades of live performances and speaking engagements bearing much fruit. The life of an independent is never easy and Steve has had challenges getting the resources to record albums and in recent years with his health but has faced everything with an admirable cheerful resolve and continued to create fine music. Musically, he has managed to create a back catalogue of consistent quality. Personal favourites like "Sink To The Bottom" and "Prodigal" rub shoulders with outstanding songs like "The Colour Of Life". Steve Parsons is an artist well worth investigating and this collection is an ideal place to begin.
