2 years after his debut, we hear a more ccm sounding record
from Steve. The 80's definitely made a great breakthrough
for the ccm sound; especially myrrh label artists. "Under
His Love" captured me when I heard it play. I really like
the song "Easy Livin'
(under the sun)"; nice easy pop sound. I love the message
of "Ambassador in Chains"; wtg Steve on writing this song.
The album title starts off side 2,
with a great lengthy horn intro: it lifts you up!
I love the music to "Do They Have To Grow Up?" .
Steve brings a personal, heartfelt song about the loss of
his brother Bobby: I believe we all have a song like this in
life about losing someone dear.
A song entitled "Psalm 131" closes the songset, and is
surely the perfect closer: one of my favorites.
GOD Bless! -Don
