Country music has long produced talented families of musicians and now these siblings from Ozark Mountains country, Lindsay, Sarah, Emily and Matthew Reith, playing a variety of acoustic instruments (guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bass and mandolin) demonstrate that that tradition continues. They have also penned some of the new and excellent material here, or at least Lindsay and Emily have. The vocals are mainly handled by the three sisters, except when Matthew leads on "Beautiful Moments In Time". "Up All Night" and "The Miracle In Me" are strong while the instrumental version of "Beethoven's Fifth" has some dazzling virtuoso bluegrass fiddling. The harmony of the three sisters on the beautiful title track is simply magnificent while the closer, a haunting rendition of the George Beverly Shea/Rhea F Miller classic "I'd Rather Have Jesus", though it owes more than a little to Alison Krauss is still truly wonderful. I really take my hat off to the production by Landon Beene and Ernie Haase for capturing such a pure and authentic country sound, resisting the temptation to "sweeten up" the set for possible extra radio airplay. A simply wonderful release.
