'All New Bible Songs' means there's not an oldie in sight. Following hot on the heels of 'Bible Songs' - which did contain lots of old songs - the 'All New.' CD has 16 fairly infectious teaching and worship songs, all sung very nicely by children with cool voices. Recorded in Franklin TN we would expect quality playing and recording and we are not disappointed, though the instrumentation is slightly sparse, which is probably what the budget was. The first song, "Ain't No Big Thing", is a shuffle that grooves along with an electric guitar playing tasty blues phrases. I thought I would be in for a feast of rhythm especially as the promo says that this is "Today's Music For Today's Kids" but things calmed down with ballads and acoustic guitar making appearances. My five year old boy, Isaac, listened to the CD in his walkman and certified it good.
