After 15 years in the gospel industry it's a surprise that Sheri is only now releasing a solo album. Sheri started her singing career with the well known Donald Lawrence as part of the Tri City Singers. She then performed as one half of the successful duo Ted and Sherri. Going it alone was not a bad idea for the Atlanta-based artist as the album contains some very strong tracks. "Renewed", the first single to be released, is an upbeat dance track that harps back to the days of Motown with its crossover soul/pop sound. The lyrics are very strong expressing how God came through and renewed the singer. "Not To Late To Dream" displays a powerhouse vocal technique while "Wonder" is a song about Sheri's young daughter's entry into the world. The latter starts with an intro from the daughter herself. Another stand out is "Encourage Yourself", a number Sheri originally sang with The Tri-City Singers.
