Sharon is a new gospel talent originally from Manchester but now studying in Leicester and this is her debut single. Produced by Steven Williams at Chapel Studios, Wimbledon, Mr Williams brings out all the sinuous poignancy of Sharon's voice over a slinky mid-tempo groove. The rock guitar coming in near the close adds little (a sax would have been way better) but there's enough appeal in the singing and song to make this reviewer take note of Sharon's name as a welcome new contributor to the UK scene.
