Dope beats to get any crowd hype with its boom bip. No, I think I'd better leave hip-hop speak to a younger generation of reviewers. What I can report is that 'The Movement' is a satisfying second solo album from the LA Symphony rapper. The title track has our man explaining the theme of the album over a tasty sitar sample while the duo Light Headed team up with the emcee on "Four". Probably the best cut on the album is the feel good anthem "Freedom", though the slow tempo "Change" has an intriguing groove created by fellow LA Symphony man Flynn. Street level hip-hop with plenty of biblical inspiration in the raps.
