Based in Melbourne, Australia, Sean's acoustic guitar playing is a testament to a musical career spanning 30 years. On 'Keeping The Faith' there is some exquisite playing, especially on the excellent opening song "Light My Way", the instrumental "My Life" and "My Lord's Prayer". These tracks create a gently reflective mood to draw the listener into worship. Sean creates more of a blues feel on tracks such as "I Will Thank You Lord" which includes some impassioned vocals. He even allows himself some fun on "I Got Joy In My Soul". It is the quieter tracks which work the best, however, allowing space for the melodies and Sean's sensitive playing to shine through. Lyrically, the songs offer God praise and gratitude and offer us hope for the future. The sleeve contains lyrics for two of Sean's songs but it would be nice if there were more as occasionally Sean's diction isn't all that clear.
