This is the second album from a Derry-based songsmith and marks a few changes in Richard's life - like getting married and changing countries. The songs are all self written, except for two written by his grandfather, and are generally a very personal look at issues and his relationships with God and other people. They are well crafted and use pace, tight production and musical variation to highlight the feelings behind the lyrics. While nothing stands out like a sore thumb there is also nothing that really jumps out and demands to be listened to either. In all a pleasant, lovingly honed album that will not offend but may well provoke some thought.
