Eden Burning's producer Dave Pickering Pick in the producer's seat?! A couple of EB helping out in the backing band?! Has the ex-Cloud man gone folk-roots?! Well, not exactly but there is a gentle folk-tinged ambience, if I can use that word (You can't. Ed) though the drums are mixed well back and the whole thing won't offend your granny. Strengths are some wistfully melodic songs and some excellent arrangements. Weaknesses are a certain sameness on several songs and Phil's rather colourless voice which on occasions comes too close for comfort to sounding downright wet. But I quibble. (You do. Ed) If you want folk-tinged, Anglican sounding Charismatic worship but can't abide the Fisherfolk (hey, whatever happened to them?) then investigate 'Father Of Compassion'.
