One of America's CCM veteran gravel-voiced soulsters and trumpet playing virtuosos , Phil has long been a favourite in inspirational circles. This is a collection of various moods of music as you would expect for a live album, ranging from seriously funky (check out "Shout" and "Unbeatable Spirit") to more reflective moments ("You Are So Beautiful" and "Make Us One"). You even get a bluesy version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and Dylan's "Serve Somebody" thrown in. Among the featured 'friends', Abraham Laboriel lets fly with his bass solo on the aforementioned Dylan track. Phil's voice has its usual soulful authority and though some may find the praise concert atmosphere a tad OTT, Driscoll devotees will enjoy.
