Here are the dying days of the excellent gospel group Paradise. By 1985, the original line up was reduced to Philip and Junior Edwards, David Aieyola who recruited a white singer to replace Paul Johnson who had exited the band. Going in a funky pop direction with multi-layered vocals, this is the furthest from the gospel funk roots of the band and for the time, it is full of solid pop production with a strong groove. However despite the infectious groove, it didn't get anywhere close to the charts. This 12 inch features two different mixes of the song. The first is an extended 12 inch version and then there's a semi instrumental mix with all the backing vocals left in place. This the sound of the band fizzling out which is a shame.
