First things first, whoever is doing the press stuff for this band has a sense of humour reminiscent of the Housemartins put-downs. This is a new Christian band based in Doncaster, already playing gigs up and down the country and constantly writing new material. Five tracks are showcased here and the bands strength is most definitely threefold; tight playing, superb sax and clever dual female leads. That sax will be what you remember from the album's opener "Creation's Day" more aptly titled "Just Another Miracle" perhaps. The horn is straight out of Madness/Specials style from the early 80's. I'd stick with the girls as lead singers though, Lesley and Stephanie (the sax player!) give the band its point of stylistic focus. "Search The Skies" finishes side one and is near to the opener in vying for best track. Upbeat, yet light rock at one and the same time. There's some great playing on this set and the band have obviously got their act together very quickly since their formation last Christmas. Worth a booking, worth a listen. Give the girls their nead, keep it tight at the back lads and who knows what might develop.
