An undemanding set of 13 songs, displaying a mature voice, competent though obvious arrangements and backing. Some original songs sit alongside borrowed stuff from Carman and Phlil McHugh's excellent "People Need The Lord". Launching into the negative aspects, this tape bears all the usual hallmarks of countless budget price releases, plodding along predictably and never breaking into a sweat, artistically or energetically. I'm sure Nicky gave of her best, but she needs to find a better formula than mediocre everything. Sorry, not this time.
