This handy package brings together three of the long running American CCM veterans' best loved albums. There are 33 tracks here over three CDs of which 12 have been former number ones in the US CCM charts. NewSong have unsurprisingly had a few line up changes in the 30 years they have been together; In 1994 Russ Lee, Charles Billingsley and Scotty Wilbanks joined Carswell and Goodwill, with Leonard Ahlstrom receiving first songwriting credit on the mostly co-written songs. 'All Around The World' (1993) pre-dates this change in line up but contains several good news hits including "Hero Of The Faith", a song about Billy Graham. The pop gets a little funkier on the other two albums: 'People get Ready' (1995); full of big, catchy, uplifting numbers like "We Wear His Name", "My Heart's Already There" and "Arise My Love" and 'Love Revolution' (1997) with the celebrated "Rhythm Of The World" and the fantastic "Miracles". The oldies here offer a life affirming, joyous vibe and with top-drawer production quality most of the tracks here have a refreshing rather than dated feel. Quality Christian pop in a bargain package.
