This American team's last outing 'People Get Ready" was a big hit Slateside and this set could be just as much a favourite with US Christian radio. Occupying that blue eyed soul-cum-pop ground once held by the Imperials, the group's three songwriters Leonard Ahlstrom, Eddie Carswcll and Russ Lee write hooky songs which probe spiritual truth with pristine clarity while their front man emotes and purrs like a black soulman. My favourite cut is "Rhythm Of The World", a simplistic but effective overview of a world in tumult. The kind of classy pop album that Brits seldom produce.

Great cd to have! full of ccm wonderment! What's more it is
nearly 1 hour of top ccm. The 1990's era has proven to be a
great decade for this wonderful group of talented guys. The
title song starts off the amazing songset; sad to say that
believers are lacking love these days. The song "Miracles"
is next in line; the first song that I actually heard from
this cd; just connected with it immediately! I love this
song wholeheartedly! btw there is a remix of the song as a
bonus track. Miracle songs were filling up the airwaves;
the year prior we heard "If I Never See A Miracle" by top
ccm artist, Morgan Cryar. The nearly 6 minute "Rhythm of
the World" is a song for today;great chorus!:I love the
instrumental break in between. We are definitely closer to
the day of the LORD's return. "Turn the World Around" was a
good song title; the theme was in the air: top ccm
artist,
Amy Grant also had "Turn This World Around" which
incidentally was released about the same time as this cd.
The last 2 songs prior to bonus track mellow down the
atmosphere; really like "Heaven is YOU"; what a melody of
beauty. wtg guys! thank you!
