This follows on from the Paisley-based church's 2007 EP 'Freedom In The Name Of Jesus'. It is a full length album collection of contemporary praise and worship mainly from Mossvale's worship leader (on acoustic guitar and vocals) Peter Chalk (nephew of the church's founding pastor Robert Chalk), ably supported by the equally talented Peter Allan (vocals, acoustic guitar and keyboard/piano). There are a number of standout songs; "Only You" (Peter and Ruthie Chalk) carries a dynamic fusion of electric guitar, bass and drums - "Only you can set my soul ablaze, to shine eternally." The title track is a worshipful acoustic number (by Peter Chalk and Claire Billingham) with Esther Orr on vocals, beautifully harmonising with Peter Chalk - "King of love my sins are now washed clean and I'm yours forevermore." Authentic and vibrant spirituality runs through the album, rooted in love for God and Scripture. The warm family-feel of the church is expressed in the number of related musicians (Hugh Chalk - drums, George Russell senior and junior - electric guitar, Ruthie Chalk - violin) involved in the production. This is a highly competent and thoughtful selection of anointed original songs.
