This is a new venture form the Maranatha! Music stable: they're hoping this kids' version will match the success of the Maranatha! Praise Band. The producers have given it their best shot the arrangements are deft and assured, punchy, professional and high on techno-hop. Some nice agile fresh Voices that I would listen for again and some nasal ones that I could do without. It's well mixed with the children's voices heavily enhanced. Some of the punchy riffs are fun and the kids' enthusiasm is certainly there but throughout I feel the songs are just not strong enough. It's big on funk but small on content: spiritually many of these songs do not deliver. The little pep talks between each track I found unbelievable and coy.
