Since her departure from Phatfish, Lou has carved out a powerful worship ministry and this 16-song compilation offers the best tracks from her albums. Her distinctive voice, clear and agile, beautifies everything she sings and brings to vibrant life the songs she writes. "Breathe" is an up-tempo, self-assured song of invocation, written by Lou, husband Nathan and Mike Busbee (the producer) as a response song for meetings and its middle eight "Life-giving Spirit" takes it up a notch. The much-loved Phatfish song "There Is A Day" is a composition of measured intensity about the Rapture. The chorus "We will meet him in the air" lifts us up almost physically with its tight vocal harmonies and the electric guitar takes over when the emotion gets too much. Wonderful stuff! "To God Be The Glory" is another Phatfish classic, rocking the Fanny Crosby lyrics with a new tune, a beat to die for and a great riff between verses. Lou says that her heart is to "communicate the love of God through song" and that's certainly happening here.
