This album was recorded over a three year period in the USA and UK. It consists of eight tracks, which were all first takes that capture the spontaneous nature that the composer uses as his approach to worship. The tracks are mostly acoustic guitar with vocals (bass/drums/keyboards are used as additional colouration) as reflected in a "raw, unrehearsed folk" style. The minimal sleevenotes give little away as to the origins of the material except for the inclusion of "Be Thou My Vision". The songs ramble along and could be improved by more careful Grafting of the material, and the amateurish presentation of the packaging makes the recording overpriced compared to more professional recordings released by other musicians. The inlay notes try and justify why the recordings are rough by stating, "When G-D wants perfection he has angels play," which is folly as God calls us to excellence.

I met Michael in 2000 and have enjoyed his material. I've found his work to be insightful, challenging and refreshing.
