Pleasant is a word that springs to mind with this 11-track album. The songs are pleasant enough, harmonies pleasant, production etc. The trouble is, save "All The Difference" - an interpretation of 9/11, this collection is largely undemanding listening. Also, the lead vocals appear slapdash and often hurried into a metre which doesn't feel quite right on some of the tracks. A more definitive vocalisation would have really helped flesh out the material more effectively. This debut offers some promise, though. If vocals and songwriting can be tightened, and a slightly more daring approach can be employed, the artist may escape from the formulaic.

To Norman Smith:
I appreciate the honest and insightful review. I am coming
out with another CD soon, and I do have alot to learn. My
only prayer is that someone would be encouraged along the
way by the simple songs I write...
