Before singing, Jean was a classically-trained violinist before laying it down to have a family. Life experiences have led her to this place, singer, speaker, radio host and violinist with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra. The latter is beautifully evident on "Impossibly Beautiful". The Nashville effect is more evident in the title track with the banjo/guitar mix that rubber stamps the song and much of the album (guest guitar maestro Phil Keaggy is present). What makes the project distinctive are the gentle, humble lyrics. "Together Now" is a fine example where Jean is turning over a new leaf and declares it's 'No longer you, no longer me" ably assisted by John Ellis (Tree 63). Jean strides the music genres of MOR and pop with ease, giving the listener an inspiring and engaging musical experience.
