Hailing from Maryland and working together since 2002, this is the American band's second independently released CD. Drawing on a variety of pop, rock and gospel influences, they have created a sound all of their own that can be classed as acoustic-based pop. But topped off with Randy Preston's amazing soulful voice, this takes on a very special flavour that sets it apart from the myriad of other groups doing this kind of music like Big Daddy Weave and Addison Road. I think this band are best when they're being soulful on songs like "Dream Maker" and "Heal Me" although I do like the driving U2 style guitar on "Real" and the catchiness of "Fathom".
