From Buffalo, New York, here's a band that are built around the singing and songwriting of Julie and Jack Parker. They have created a rootsy pop sound that acts as the perfect foil for the excellent songs here. Both Jack and Julie have voices perfect for this style of music with Julie sounding like Cher in places and Jack rasping out his vocals. Highlights include the catchy single release "Never Be Lonely Again", the touching piano ballad "Preacher Man" and the dark to light story of the title cut. After the release of their debut album, Innerman caught the attention of the legendary producer Armand John Petri (Sixpence None The Richer, 10,000 Maniacs) and his expertise make this, their second CD, stand out from the crowd. Mixing a worshipful vibe with a few catchy pop songs, it's an invigorating mix and Innerman have hit on something special.
