The opening track is a curious fusion of grunged out guitars and pixicato string arrangements in "Three Bed Semi" and characterises the original approach of this indie styled band. A jokey songwriting style in "No Strings Attached" pays ample homage to the likes of Blur but lacking the same incisive wit with lines such as, "If you were a lollipop what would you be?/Yellow, yellow like me." Nevertheless, this may prove an enjoyable booking particularly with the student contingent and there is enough manic energy to merit an entertainingly different night.
