This hour long sampler contains what the notes accompanying the CD describe as "moments when the presence of God touches the hearts of his children in a special, unmistakable way." Many of the songs focus on being in the presence of God and the aim seems to be to encourage intimacy in worship. As well as the songs themselves, there are spoken invitations to worship and instrumental passages and I found that the longer instrumental sections were helpful in creating space that might promote this intimacy. There are some excellent songs here, notably "Be Glorified", "Into Your Courts", "Highest Place", "Here In Your Presence" and if you're looking for something to aid your worship, either individually or in small groups, these would be excellent. However, many of the tracks are too slow, too predictable or suffer from over fussy production. For a 'best of collection, I was disappointed that there weren't enough tracks of real quality to make me go out and buy it, but if you're willing to put up with a fair few duds among the gems you might find this a worthwhile purchase.
