Despite the title, this is one of the more gentle Hosanna! recordings, and all the better for it. The music is simple enough that you can join in by the second verse of each song, and Chris Christensen leads in a quiet manner that doesn't intrude. Songs that have stuck with me are "Pour Out Through me", written by Bob Fitts and Gary Sadler, and "My Cross", written by Chris. The focus of the album is one of personal redemption, obedience and evangelism. This is a great recording (restoring my interest in the Hosanna! series), probably because it is less "glitzy" than previous albums. It has a much more acoustic sound, with relatively few instruments (guitars, saxophone, accordion and keyboards). I like it.
