Producer Dave Cooke has deftly returned the elements which have established Helen in that small consumer bubble - Britian's Christian bookshops (namely a once famous name; an effecting way with slow, sonorous Hebrewic songs; and a jazzy sense of phrasing) and added some more commercial ingredients, in particular megastar Cliff Richard duetting on "We Being Many". Mr Cooke has even been able to take Helen into 90's funky pop territory with the title track which concludes with a slinky rap and veteran Mark Williamson showing he's still one of the funkiest BV singers. But it's those Messianic praise and minor-key ballads which Helen likes best and the 50's pop star brings power and passion to the songs here. Helen's classiest album for years.

Great variety of styles here for Helen's Gospel fans. Her voice truly is moving on this CD. "Messianic "cuts outshine those on her CD, Enter his Gates and the jazzier cuts are pure Helen. The musicianship and production are excellent, if you can live with the attempt to capture "90"s" sounds(Sampled Orchestral hits, Helen's failed attempt at rap). I wish there were more artists who do what she does, which I call Christian Lounge.
